Mission & Values

We believe that every church has the responsibility to walk in obedience to two important teachings that Jesus gave us:

Matthew 22:36-40 ESV
Jesus replied "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets."

Mark 16:15-16, 20 ESV
And he said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.  Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned….And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by accompanying signs.

Every church has the responsibility to pursue these two commands, but how they accomplish them is what makes the local church unique. The local church is God's redemptive plan, and there are many shapes and sizes. The way that Lifehouse seeks to accomplish these commands is with a specific mission in mind.

Our Mission

Our mission at Lifehouse is to connect people to real love and real life to make a difference in the world.
We believe that God has always had it in his heart to take people on a spiritual journey:
to Know God, to Find Freedom, to Discover Your Purpose,  and to Make a Difference.

Our Values

Joy

We are forgiven and freed from the enemy's power of sin, sickness, lies, and torment. Now we live in the power of righteousness, healing, truth, and joy.

Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls."
1 Peter 1:8-9

Generosity

We look for opportunities to give our time, talent, and treasures away for the sake of others.

"The generous will prosper, those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed."
Proverbs 11:25

Restoration

Nothing is impossible with God. So we believe that there is no person or situation that is beyond His ability to bring complete restoration.

"Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God."
Mark 10:27

Releasing

We are all ministers advancing His kingdom both inside and outside the Church.

"In the last days, God says, 'I will pour out my Spirit on all people, your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions and your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy."
Acts 2:17-18
