Our Story

Our Story

Planted in 1997, our church has strived for unity in all areas of faith in Jesus Christ. Lifehouse has been in the community of Stone Oak since 2004. In 2007 our current pastors Ryan and Kelly Coffey moved to San Antonio from Spokane, WA along with their two children, Jacob and Claire. In 2009 their third child Marley was born and is officially a "Texan". Ryan and Kelly have been leading Lifehouse towards helping people discover and walk in their God-given purpose.

All are welcome at Lifehouse and in fact, on an average Sunday morning we’ll have Catholics sitting next to Lutherans, sitting next to faith-explorers, sitting next to Pentecostals. We strive for balance in everything we do and present the whole of the Gospel with a balanced approach. Lifehouse is not about being religious, we strive to be real and transparent. We believe our community needs less judgement and more relationship with God and each other. We are excited to see what God has in store for you in the days to come and we look forward to meeting you on Sunday at our 9:15 or 11am service.

A Message from Our Pastor

Welcome to Lifehouse Church!

Our doors are open wide to everyone seeking a safe place to grow in God and in relationships with other believers.  You know, there are over 2,000 churches in the San Antonio area, and finding one that “fits” can be challenging.  I believe every church serves a unique purpose in its community, so let me tell you what Lifehouse is about.  At Lifehouse, our goal is to connect people to Real Love and Real Life to make a difference.  (That happens to be our Mission Statement, too.)   Although you are welcome to fly under the radar until you get comfortable, my hope is that you won’t stay just a face in the crowd but will plug in and connect with our family here.

We strive to create an atmosphere of loving acceptance, where people grow spiritually through vibrant worship, authentic relationships, Biblical teaching, constant prayer, and compassionate concern for the world.  Whether you’re a spiritual seeker checking things out, a baby Christian beginning your walk, or a committed believer looking to take root and reach out, you can find a home at Lifehouse Church.

Blessings,
Pastor Ryan and Kelly
